Melanie (Simmons) Nicholson, Principal
Melanie Nicholson is an award-winning communications strategist with more than a dozen years of combined experience in strategic communications, media and stakeholder relations, and broadcast journalism. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Communications from Royal Roads University, a Broadcast News diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has completed several emergency management courses from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Melanie has held communications and public relations positions in both the tourism and ski industries, as well as post-secondary education. She understands the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome and has successfully executed multi-faceted media relations plans for large scale projects. Working in multiple collaborative communications and marketing teams has given her first-hand experience in the importance of consultation and discussion to determine the best strategic decisions to support the business objectives.
Maggie Bremski, Associate Consultant
Maggie Bremski has over a decade of communications and public relations experience across the public and private sectors. Her career has spanned the transportation, infrastructure and energy industries, where she gained a deep understanding and appreciation of how research, strategic planning, measurement and data collection work together to support smart business decisions. Today, she applies this formula to develop cost-effective, strategic communication solutions that elevate the profile of organizations and help them achieve their business goals.
Maggie received both her Bachelor of Arts and her Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria, Canada.
