CLIENT NEWS: The Urban Painter launches Paint4Good initiative

The Urban Painter is continuing with its unwavering commitment to infuse vibrancy and colour into Calgary’s landscape with an initiative to provide free painting services to charitable organizations.

For the fourth consecutive year, The Urban Painter proudly presents Paint4Good, an exceptional initiative that extends a helping hand to a minimum of five charitable and/or community organizations within Calgary. Through this endeavour, The Urban Painter generously contributes their time and painting resources to revitalize these organizations' spaces with fresh paint and a boost of energy at the same time.

“Colour has the ability to evoke emotions, create atmosphere and breathe life into any environment,” says Jon Bryant, founder of The Urban Painter. “We understand that charities work tirelessly to make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve. By offering our expertise, we aim to enhance the physical spaces where these meaningful actions take place.”

The Urban Painter is accepting applications from community centres, shelters, schools or any spaces that support a noble cause and they will help transform it into a more vibrant, inspiring and welcoming place. Five organizations will be selected for a $5,000 interior transformation. It could be freshening the walls and trim, brightening a lobby or bringing kitchen cabinets back to life!

Over the last three years, The Urban Painter has revitalized spaces for more than 20 organizations through Paint4Good. Projects have included a facelift for the Hunt House and Métis Cabin at Fort Calgary, transforming the Dalhousie Community Association Preschool, and refreshing the Raido House with the Calgary John Howard Society.

In total, The Urban Painter has completed upwards of $250,000 worth of painting for local organizations.

“We all have something unique to give. Adding a little colour is ours.”

How organizations can apply

Organizations looking to apply for free painting can head to paint4good.ca to submit their story. Tell us how The Urban Painter can help create some smiles by brightening your space.

The Paint4Good team will vote on submissions and select worthy recipients to receive $5,000 in free painting services.

The receiving organizations will be contacted and have a chance to sit down with one of their design consultants to pick the perfect paint colour.

And then they paint!

Projects will be selected in October 2023.
