MLC Named Honourable Mention Recipient in PR Daily's Nonprofit Awards
We are beyond thrilled to share that Melanie Lynn Communications Inc. has been named an honourable mention recipient of PR Daily’s 2019 Nonprofit PR Awards in the Social Media Campaign category for our work on two donor awareness campaigns for CUPS.
PR Daily’s Nonprofit PR Awards celebrates the teams, organizations and agencies who have redefined the field with their groundbreaking work. As an honourable mention recipient in the program, MLC joins an elite group of past recipients, including the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, Oceana, the ACLU, the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, Tacoma Public Schools and Indiana University Health.
“Melanie Lynn Communications set themselves apart from an outstanding field of applicants. Their work was exceptional and displayed their innovative strategies for achieving success. Congratulations, MLC. We look forward to your continued success,” says Brendan Gannon, Marketing Manager for Awards Programs at Ragan Communications.
CUPS is a non-profit organization that provides integrated care services to vulnerable individuals and families in Calgary, Alberta. They have a big vision of extending that support to help vulnerable populations across Canada as they manage adversity, reach their potential and end the cycle of poverty and trauma. By redefining the way non-profit organizations approach these challenges, CUPS has set a new standard of care for measuring impact in the non-profit sector.
As the need increases, so does the importance of elevating the awareness of the challenges facing these people, educating the community about how to break the cycle of poverty, and, most importantly, increasing fundraising dollars to support CUPS’ programming.
“Through thoughtful planning, impactful writing and smart social execution, our team worked with CUPS to find fundraising success on social media and we couldn’t be more pleased,” says Melanie Nicholson, Principal and Owner of MLC.
MLC’s win was announced via social media, and the winning team will also be recognized for its accomplishment in a special write-up on Ragan’s internationally-read news website.
